Day 09: a song you can dance to



Britney Spears - The Hook Up

Upload will follow tomorrow. I'm really into the Blackout (Freakshow, Gimme More, Toy Soldier) and Circus ((Get Naked) I Got A Plan (ridic title, I know) ) songs, but this is one of my favourites, from In The Zone.

I have been a Spears fan since uh... Baby One More Time, when I was 12. I had my MCR phase, and stopped listening for a while, but then I started again. Heh.

I know it's not deep or inspirational, but I enjoy it so. :D

I have to get up at 5. Ouch. Goodnight!

haha yeah one of my best friends is a huge Britney fan, so I ended up getting hooked again too, after not listening to her since I was like 13

Haha! :D It took me a while to not feel embarrassed about my Britney cd's and the fact that I do read articles about her and everything. I think I just got over the 'not cool' phase, and accepted that, while she's not a genius and doesn't write poetic songs that make me cry, I do enjoy her music. Just exactly for what it is: easy to listen and dance to! And as a person she may be somewhat fucked up, but she seems really sweet and cute, so the fangirly love never really stopped. XD

Well, I don't think anything Britney Spears is to be taken 'seriously', hehe. I take her music at face value, it's just fun for when I'm not in the mood for any other kind of music. Plus I've always thought she's really adorable. In her own way... She's not the brightest crayon in the box, but then again, she never pretended to be.

Ya, I still really like I think it's her second cd.. That was the only good one as far as I'm concerned, because I could probably still listen to "stronger" and be happy :P Plus my roommate from college pretty much is obsessed with her, so ur not alone lol
